What Can You Expect?
As everyone is well aware, we are living in unusual times. We are happy that you have made the choice to visit us. However, things are different here at The Bayside and we'd like you to be aware of what to expect when you stay with us.
As of August 24th, our provincial government has enacted legislation that now makes it mandatory to were a mask in all indoor public areas, including B&Bs. Please obey this law while staying with us. Unless you have an underlying health or mental condition, you will be required to wear one. This is for your safety, the safety of other guests and the safety of Basil and myself. While moving about in the common areas, mask wearing is mandatory. You may remove your mask while seated in the dining area but will be required to put one back on once you leave this area. Please be sure to bring your own personal mask. We can provide one for your use during your stay. We provide hand sanitizer for your convenience and there is always soap in the bathroom dispensers. Frequent hand washing is still one of the best preventative measures to stop the spread of any viruses. All surfaces that are frequently touched are sanitized throughout the day.
Our coffee bar will still be available to guests as it is cleaned frequently throughout the day, but we ask you to be mindful of its use and be sure to use the sanitizer before helping yourself.
Unfortunately, at this time, we cannot offer daily housekeeping but if you need any fresh linens or toiletries during your stay, we will be happy to provide them for you. All your bedding, as always, is freshly changed and towels are fresh as well. The glasses, ice bucket and bottled water have been sanitized and supplied for your personal use.
At this point in time, we are required to check residents of your NL VaxPass status because of the common areas used by all guests. Out-of-province guests can produce their printed vaccination status that was submitted at point of entry, This may change with government updates.
We hope that no one feels that we have set too many rules in place. We want you to enjoy your stay with us and to forget about the worries and concerns of the outside world. Your health and safety are important to us. Please feel free to contact us if you have any concerns or questions and we will be happy to discuss then with you.
